Licenses & Exploration
The discovery of kimberlitic diamond sources is the primary aim of PAMM's diamond program. Therefore,
areas deemed most likely to host kimberlite have been selected. As can be seen from the figure above,
PAMM has procured numerous licences, including several in the three areas deemed most prospective for
diamonds by the BRGM. As a secondary objective, PAMM will investigate the possibility of locating rich
alluvial diamond deposits and commercial deposits of other precious stones such as alexandrite, sapphires,
rubies and emeralds, all of which have been found historically in Madagascar.
